My background in textiles is focused on multiple disciplines such as: weaving, printing, and fiber sculpture. I focus on creating installations out of fabrics by using methods and concepts that make the pieces come to real life. My work is mostly interactive and need a viewers translation. These pieces of work vary in color, shape, scale, and design. It explores ideas such as mapping, geography, and landscape but on fabric rather than on paper. These collections all relate to my previous architectural studies one way or the other but further explore the emotional context that cannot be translated through architecture plans, models, and designs.
